Happy to help! The links I shared are not from the Community Forum, but rather directly from Atlassian's "to do" list. This is where support requests go, including VOC product suggestions, bugs, etc. for the product owners to review. If there is a particular way you'd like to be able to close out projects you can submit it…

Hi @James Heaphy, I agree, I also have several projects that I would like to close out and remove from the list of in flight projects...once a project is done, it's done. At some point if changes are needed, even in a true Agile world, a new project should be stood up. There are a number of open suggestions for Atlassian…

Hmmm...I'm not sure where that is either. Big Gantt has pretty good documentation, check out their latest for security here: User access - Global Roles vs. Per Program Roles If you still have trouble their support system is also good, you can raise a request here: Customer Portal -Scott

Hi @Yossi Goldberg, You may be better served by raising a support request with Atlassian here: Contact Atlassian Support This forum is made up of users of Atlassian products, and while someone may be able to give you instructions for restoring from your backup working directly with Atlassian may be faster for you. Hope…

Hi @Roye Totah, Like most other add-ons, Big Gantt's pricing is based on the number of Jira users, not the number of users that use the tool. You can manage permissions based on roles (go to Jira Settings, Apps, Big Gannt Security Configuration) but you can't change the pricing structure by restricting access. Hope this…

Hi @Anthony, A question for you...Is this in a Next-Gen project or are you using the Story Points Estimate field in a Classic project? The field was created by Atlassian specifically for Next-Gen projects, and there have been some issue reported by people that used it in classic projects. You can see more…

Hi @Joe Spadoni, There are, as you've guessed, a number of ways to handle this, at the highest level you'd either have one project with different components or multiple projects under a single program. Since you have one scrum team that works one sprint at a time I suggest using one project with either Components or…

Hi, Your best option will be for Atlassian to add time tracking to the next-gen projects. There is a support request for this already, you can vote for it here: JRACLOUD-70694 They have considered adding the estimated start and end dates to standard projects, but the enhancement request was rejected. (See JRASERVER-43309)…

Northeast Ohio, the area where I grew up that is about 40 miles from Cleveland, is famous for its wineries. They make ice wines, Rieslings, Pinots, and a bunch of other varieties. Most of the wines are made with French-American hybrid grapes, some are more German (Markko Vineyards is a very traditional German-esce winery.)…

Hi @Manus Tangtirawat, I found a few add-ons that may be worth exploring: https://marketplace.atlassian.com/search?product=jira-service-desk&query=salesforce -Scott

Hi @Rahul Aich [Nagra], This is an interesting one...have you tried using IS NULL and IS NOT NULL instead of IS EMPTY and IS NOT EMPTY? It shouldn't make a difference, but just in case... -Scott

Hi @corey_rotterman, Here is a link to some documentation that may help: Working with search results About halfway down the page there is a section with instructions to perform a "Bulk Edit." You may need to be logged in as an admin, depending on how your permissions are set up, and, since the user is inactive, you may…

Hi @Ansar Rezaei, This sounds like something the vendor will need to help with. You can submit a support request here: SoftwarePlant Support. -Scott

Hi @AngelSilva, Editing and deleting elements that were created by users after the users have been deleted is difficult at best, and in most cases impossible. Jira ties things like boards to the user, when you delete a user you lose the ability to revise many of the things that user created. You can try recreating the user…

Hi @Alex Dickinson, The ability to create and edit templates is restricted to the admin level.: From the documentation located at https://confluence.atlassian.com/confcloud/blueprints-and-user-created-templates-724764985.html Confluence templates exist on two levels: * Global templates: These page templates are available…

Hi @Scott Cahill, Can you tell us what the status is on the tasks listed? In order for a sprint to be closed all issues need to be in the right hand "Done" column. If your status of those issues is anything other than your "Done" status the sprint won't close. -Scott

@[deleted] you will need to contact Atlassian Support: https://support.atlassian.com/contact/#/ -Scott

Hi @Esther Strom, The short answer is you don't. With the Cloud version the user sets the password when they activate their account through the link you send in the invite. There is a "Password Reset" button available to the site-admin, that also sends an email with instructions for the user. -Scott

Awesome! Glad I could help. -Scott

Hi @Kat Warner, Don't forget to put in a Swag Request to get some Atlassian swag :) https://augleader.atlassian.net/servicedesk/customer/portal/1/create/6 -Scott

Hi @Daniele Mannelli, I played with this a bit in my test system, but I didn't have the full set up of issues to get accurate results and I ran out of time for setting it up. So...here's what I was trying, perhaps you can give it a shot and let me know if it works... * In the left nave, select "Issues and Filters" * Click…

Hi @danna deaton, If it follows what I'm seeing in my Cloud instance, the Quick Search sorts by the issue key field. Of course, that is assuming that the search function that is on the left navigation bar in Cloud is the same or similar to the Quick Search in the server menu bar. Here are two links for the different…

Hi @Felix Chan, Here is a link to a field reference guide for advanced searching. If you set your filter to pull all issues that "updated <10d and assignee != currentUser()" it will pull all issues that are older than 10 days and where you are not the assignee. The documentation shows other functions you can use on…

@Shaun Jackson, unfortunately, no. Once it is deleted from the instance it is gone. -Scott

As @Sloan N_ B_ mentioned, there is no way to do this with Jira out of the box. The Big Picture add-on shows resource over allocations nicely, but I don't know it sends notifications. Portfolio also manages team and individual scheduling well, but again, I'm not sure if it does notifications. There are other notification…

Hi @Eren Kempfer, I'm sorry to here that! Losing a draft is one of the most frustrating things I ever run into in any application. There are a couple of places you can look..first check the "your work" section by clicking the link in the left hand navigation column from your Confluence space's home page: If it is not there…

Happy to have helped. Could you mark this as "accepted" so others can find it easily? Thanks, -Scott
-
Hi @Jeff Wogan The boards are just visual representations of the status of the issue(s), so when you close out the Dev board and mark all the issues as DONE the issues are considered completely resolved. Since the status of the issues are DONE there is nothing for the QA board to display. Having separate sprints for QA and…

HI Scott, There is no way to change the position of the side-bar. You can drag the right edge to the left and change the size and you can change the background and text color, but you can't change the position. -Scott
