Thanks @Andy Gladstone they don't have Kudos enabled, which explains why I'm not able to do it.

Hi @Khawaja Adeel To add to @Craig Nodwell 's comment, I suggest you focus your learning efforts in two ways: Technical skills and Coaching Skills For technical skills go through as many free class in the Atlassian University on Agile and Jira to learn the basics of the tools, methodologies, and mindset. Expand on team…

@Rodolfo Romero - Adaptavist I'm facing the same dilemma, for now I'm likely going have to manage it with training and procedures, not within Jira or Advanced Roadmaps. My issue will be solved when we can have more than one "Epic" issue type (https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/JSWCLOUD-7203) or if Atlassian add the ability…
-
Hi Pooja, Could you check the epic status? If it is "done" you may not be able to add it to the story. -Scott

Hi I see two places that would cause the query to fail: "linkedissues" should be one word, and the "is not" operator is in there twice. Try this: project = FA AND type = "Embedded Software" AND Created>= "2022-04-01" AND Created<= "2022-07-01" AND (priority in ("Immediate", High) OR "Severity - FA" in (4, 5) AND "Support…

@Rohan Swami you mentioned earlier that "For now, we will continue to support only a single issue type at the traditional Epic level of the hierarchy, but you'll be able to rename that issue type to your choice of term." Is there a timeline for allowing multiple "Epic" issue types? Our hierarchy is Initiative, Epic,…

Thanks Daniel, I'll check out the blog post. Has this recently changed? I could be mistaken, since I was still very, very new to Advanced Roadmaps, but I remember testing this out in April before our migration to the Cloud and I was able to successfully set it up, but now I am not. -Scott

Hi Sergey, You may need to add the status "merged" to the far right column of the board (in the Configure Board view, under Columns. ) I suspect that "merged" is listed in the Unmapped Statuses column for the board. Hope this helps, -Scott

Hi @Lea S , Are you using Jira Server and an Android phone? This sounds like a bug that was reported in early 2020 and later fixed. You can find information on it at https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/JRACLOUD-73686 Hope this helps, -Scott

Hi @Hannes , There is an older post about exporting to CSV with updated information for more recent versions, but it alos contains an original answer from 2017. YOu can find it here: https://community.atlassian.com/t5/Jira-questions/How-to-export-Jira-issues-to-CSV/qaq-p/175115 Hope this helps, Scott

Hi Kevin, welcome! I'd like to share a suggestion for getting started in Jira that does not have anything to do with how to use Jira or set it up. Jira is a great tool, but just like any other job you want the tool to fit the work, not the work to fit the tool. So, before you start setting up Jira you should first…

Hi @Elena Labiaga Ferrer , Apologies in advance for the long "essay" :) I think this can be resolved with a small process change; Ii sounds like there are two or three behaviors at issue here. First, you mentioned that "QA (is) finding bugs and reporting them about products that are compromised in the sprint time." I…

To speak to your concerns about support... The Atlassian support model is different than the standard "help desk" style support that many other software companies use, and it can take some getting used to. What help desks commonly refer to as "Level One" support for Atlassian products is this community. If you make this…

This winter I've been working to get my back into shape so I can start kayaking again; I'm so out of shape from not being able to exercise for so long that now that I can I need to start slow so I don't re-injure myself. So....I bought a desk cycle for my office and use it a few times a day. It's not as good as getting out…

I told my mom in passing one spring while pulling weeds that I have an extreme dislike of garden gnomes. The following Christmas she gave me this. She plays the long game.

I love Legos! I have a bunch of Star Wares sets; including several that are waiting for me to build them. The Slave One and Tie Fighter in the background were two of my favorite builds, I'm going to do the Aston Martin next, and then the rest of the pile. The big cardboard boxes at the bottom of the pile will be last, once…

Hi @Arpita , I've used something similar to Nexus; the framework for our "Scrum of Scrums" was almost the same, but at the time I had not heard of the Nexus method. Each Scrum team had their own product and sprint backlogs, but they were both pulled from the overall program backlog and the team leaders met daily to…

In the morning I work at the desk in the dining room my wife uses for her stuff. I go to my office after the family wakes up and comes downstairs. I learned that if I put a cat bed cover next to me they will settle on it and not attack my fingers while I'm typing. This is Moe, and you've seen Milo.
-
I'm working from home today, Milo thinks he is helping.
-
This is a great idea!
-
@Mandy Ross If you mention your cat or doggo in a post then a photo of them of them should also be posted. I like cats, so, Cat Tax! Here's one of Milo and his murder mitten.
-
@Mandy Ross You do realize that you've invoked the mandatory Cat Tax, correct?
-
I worked from home for over a year, and I hated it! I just could not handle the social isolation I felt by not going into the office. My first tip would be to get out of the house and work in a coffee shop for a few hours a week; the change of scenery is helpful. But, at least in Ohio that is no longer an option since all…

@Dara I've discussed EMDR with my health professionals, it won't help me, but thanks for the suggestion!

+1 for the Bamboo Tax

I have an irrational fear of dogs...big dogs, little dogs, even happy dogs...they all want to bite me. This is partially because as a kid I was knocked down and scratched up by this white dire wolf of a husky, and partly because I also have night terrors and have since high school. The night terrors are the worst. I'm told…

Hi @Guru_Prasad Finally a Bamboo question I can answer! You may have some pests living on your bamboo like mites or aphids. Try spraying it with neem oil or a similar insecticidal soap. It could also be from over watering, bamboo is happier in slightly dry soil, watering once a week should be enough. Aquarium water is good…

I am! I have window boxes for the front, a few planters for the porch, and I'll do 4 hanging baskets. It'll look awesome once everything is in and the magnolia blooms.

Hi @Andrew Ihekwoaba , The instructions at https://confluence.atlassian.com/confcloud/permissions-and-restrictions-in-the-free-plan-976780167.html will walk you through removing the permissions and opening the space to all users. -Scott

Hi @Andrew Ihekwoaba , You should be able to remove the restrictions in the free version, there are instructions here: https://confluence.atlassian.com/confcloud/permissions-and-restrictions-in-the-free-plan-976780167.html If you've already been through these steps try logging in as the user (go to Setting, then Users,…
