Hi @[deleted] thanks for your question. I would not recommend going that way and I haven't seen any customer in the last 10 years setting JSM up that way. I curious whats your thoughts behind that scenario? Are these processes handled by completely different teams?
-
Hi @Dimitar I_ Dimitrov thank you for your question. I don't think this is possible as there are a lot of factors involved in terms of latency that go down to the connection of each user. What is your purpose behind this? Did you experience issues in the last months?
-
Can confirm that. I have sites that have both toggles under features but on of our customer sites does not.

Hi @Rajesh Kumar welcome to the community and thank you for your question. Usually it is not a good idea to match such things agains the summary or strings in general. I would recommend to store the user as an object and add it to your work items. This will give you the opportunity to connect work items based on the user.

Hi @Sinem Arslan welcome to the community and thanks for your question. I first would try to reload the Confluence page with caches cleared (sometimes this helps). Second I would go ahead and open up a support ticket here to have someone investigate this. Third: Did you try to export another page? Maybe its just the page…

Hi @Scott Schellhardt what is your current approach? What attributes does your object have? You should be able to filter by label if the number is in the label attribute. label in ("1","2","3","4","5")

Hi @Ganea_ Merissa did you add the fields to your work item layout? https://support.atlassian.com/jira-software-cloud/docs/configure-field-layout-in-the-issue-view/#Configurefieldlayoutintheworkitem-Configurefieldlayout
-
Hi @Natali to add to @Walter Buggenhout answer: The permission check requires that the person has the "Edit" and "Manage Sprints" permission for all projects belonging to the filter. Sometimes your filter spans over more than one project without notice because the issues do not show up on the board because of the column…

Hi @Marin Katic thanks for your question. There has been an EAP last year for secured URLs but this one has been closed and the feature went back to future consideration. Development ticket: https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/JSDCLOUD-11482 Currently there is no way in Assets to use secure urls. One way could be to use Data…

Hi @Gopikrishna_Kunduru thank you for your question. Do debug your issue: could you post some screenshots of your current configuration? To be honest: I haven't had the best results with behaviours in Cloud. An alternate app I can imagine would be Templating.app This one also has a behaviour feature.

Hi @Katrina Meyers I totally understand that this new layout is somewhat frustrating. What you could do: Star one of the queues of your project (with the little star behind) Then it will be at the top like this: And when you click on it, the whole tree to the project will unfold: Hope this helps

Hi @Lihana Paola Vasco Cardenas Jira Service Management lets you modify the mapping between internal and customer status. This can be done for each request type individually. This will allow you to map your internal steps to one “in progress” status for the customer for example. Documentation on…

Hi @Global Apeiroo welcome to the community and thank you for your question. The guide you referenced is for the DC version of JSM only (as stated in the blue box at the top). There are quite a few differences between cloud and DC versions of JSM. I'm sorry but I am not quite sure this functionality is available in the…

Hi @Alexander Wildes Jr looks like that Automation isn't able to find the field and populate it. Could you check that the Requests participants field is on the Edit Screen Also you could try the permission helper and check it the role actor of the rule is able to edit this field on the current work item WIS-31023 The new…

Hi @LO there has been a feature request for this for a decade that got closed last November: https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/JRACLOUD-29313 I don't think there will be anything customizable in terms of the issue collector. The only workaround I could imagine right now would be a custom form that pushes data to the Jira…

Hi @Antonia to get access you will need Premium or Enterprise plan. Then you should be able to activate it on the assets config: https://community.atlassian.com/forums/Assets-Data-Manager-f-k-a/Assets-Data-Manager-is-coming-to-Open-Beta/ba-p/2809988 How do I get access? There’s no further action needed. Data Manager Open…

Hi @Mark I'm not quite sure if I got you correctly. Would you like to have these constraints on the JSM form in the portal or on the create object screen in assets? Maybe you could give some more information and also provide some screenshots?

Hi @Efrosina Hristova _Appfire_ welcome to the community and thank you for your question. There is an official API to get the current organizations for your API key: https://developer.atlassian.com/cloud/admin/organization/rest/api-group-orgs/#api-v1-orgs-get Hope this gets you started.

Hi @Trudy P Claspill it has been some time that I did an import on DC but I think the values need to be separated by two pipes || Seems like this is still the case: https://confluence.atlassian.com/servicemanagementserver/csv-import-1044784472.html#CSVimport-formatting-csv-data And it is important that you use IN for the…

Hi @khushboo_puri welcome to the community and thank you for your question. This should be possible to do via advance field editing. Please have a look at the following post: https://community.atlassian.com/forums/Jira-questions/How-to-update-issue-parent-in-jira-automation-in-nextgen/qaq-p/1655685 Hope this helps.

Hi @Patil Sunil (RBEI/ETC4) welcome to the community and thank you for your question. Changes like this will be delivered using a stagged rollout. While I already have some customer instances where this has been rolled out, others remain with issue so far. You will probably have the ability to preview this change if you…

Hi @Tanya Courtney thank you for your question. The short answer is: you can't. Team managed projects are meant to be an easy to use type of project configuration where teams have full ownership and possibilities to modify content. They are like containers that have separate configuration that is in no way connected to…

Hi @Bob thanks for your question. Could you post a screenshot?

Hi @Shubham Sharma thank you for your question. Migrating to Cloud and keeping or switching apps is often a tough part of the process. I would recommend to check the support docs from xray and see if there is a guide on migration. Probably it could be a good idea to do the switch on DC as data might be stored on app…

Hi @Adri I don't think there will be a cheaper way. If the CuSu users should create issues and/or make comments they need to have a valid license. There is no chance to achieve your Desired Outcome. So this would lead us to at least: * 50 users Jira for engineers * 50 users Jira for CuSu * with the downside of not having a…

Hi @Kevin Vancrutsen welcome to the community and thank you for your question. You should be able to just look up the key of your object Network and then put the following into the Services field: key = <object key> This should be enough to assign the service.
-
Hi @Adri I'm not quite sure if I got you right. Just to make sure we are on the same page: * There are 50 support people that talk to customers and open tickets for them in JSM? * There are 50 developers that work in Jira and need to comment on tickets and talk to* the support people? * the customers? From your first…
-
Hi @Adri welcome to the community and thank you for your question. JSM has the feature of collaborators. And this role is a perfect fit for your engineers. This will allow them to take a look into the JSM requests BUT only allow them to make internal comments. This way you can keep the one face to the customer approach. If…
-
Hey there, is there any update regarding the assets field support? Without it this is pretty much useless. Especially when it comes to JSM projects where you will probably need booth: internal & external comments and asset fields.
-
Hi @Brittany Skinner sorry, I had to be clearer. You do not need the json part. You can put the smart value directly into Edit issue --> summary :)
