@Monique vdB Woohoo! Thanks. I'm borderline unhealthily addicted to the kudo points LOL.
-
@Dave Rosenlund _Trundl_ Thanks Dave! Glad to hear I'm not the only one who believes in it.
-
@Andreas Springer _Seibert Group_ Agreed on all of it!

@Monique vdB Hey-o. I published an article today but it doesn't look like I got the Article Author 250 kudos. :-) Article: https://community.atlassian.com/t5/Jira-Cloud-Admins-articles/Start-with-Why/ba-p/1936236#U1948542

Thanks Jack!

It's a combination of SLA configuration and Automation. You can choose a trigger for an SLA breaching.

Hi Mary, So, you can definitely add additional Resolutions that are more customized to your needs. You could set those resolutions automatically depending on a specific workflow transition. You can also restrict what resolutions appear in the resolution field by utilizing workflow properties. More info on that here. My…

What @Cat W said!

So, I have a team policy of no same day meetings unless a true emergency or from basically someone with initials in their title. That means I or my team shouldn't have meetings pop up on Monday. Same day meetings are a context switching productivity killer. It's fair to assume and expect that everyone already has things…

Advice: * Labels, labels, labels! They have their uses in Jira but in Confluence, you can truly unleash their full potential. Use them with purpose and take advantage of all the organization benefits they offer. * Include Page macro! Probably my favorite macro, ever. So many times you may need to share a single page of…

I like it @Jimmy Seddon I do similar in terms of checking what new features were released. I'll never get tired of loving that aspect of being in Cloud. The dog walk sounds like a good idea as well. Might need to try that.

* I read the weekly Atlassian Cloud changes email and post. * I try to block out my entire day to get as much focused work done as possible. I feel like it's a great way to start the week.

I was a little late but just got mine in. I'm a sucker for a good roadmap.

When I think about all the potential of what our teams could and do accomplish with Confluence...
-
And I have to respectfully disagree with Allister. While that paid plugin can accomplish it, unless you need to do this on a large scale across many teams and projects, you don't need to pay extra money to do something the system can already do out of the box.

Hi @Carlyle Brown In Automation, there is a trigger for Completed Sprint. From there, if you have an identifiable data point in the recurring task, it would be fairly easy to condition and then create an action to create a new task.

I think JSM Teacher is better since you already have it spelled out with the description. :-)
-
Hi Sam, I assume you are using/building a Proforma form? If so, why does the form need to be inserted after the request is submitted? Why wouldn't the form just be the request?
-
IMHO, JSM answered questions should count toward the Jira Teacher badge. :-)
-
This is also assuming you have Scriptrunner installed which from the looks of your initial JQL, you probably do.

Hi @Thomas Cucolo I would try something like this issueFunction in issuesInEpics("project = ProjectX AND status != Invalid AND labels in (2022q1a,2022q1b)")
-
Hi @Enel Elas Parent Link is a field used to establish a relationship between an Epic (child) and an Initiative (parent). This is meant to be used by the Advanced Roadmaps. It sounds like your admin set the Parent Link field to be required on creation of Epics. I don't know if I would agree with that configuration. In this…

@Laura Holton _ACE Manchester_ It's completely random. But also triggered every time I see Phoebe or the topic of Friends lol.

Smelly Cat gets stuck in my head an abnormal amount of times per year.

Thanks! I'm glad we have that shared experience!
-
So, to prohibit creation of the other issue types, you would need to put a validator on the create transition in the workflow that would stop creation of them unless it was Admin. The other issue types will still show in the drop-down but only designated Admins would actually be able to create them. Everyone else would get…

I'll take any that are still available!

Glad to hear it! If you don't mind, can you please accept my answer? Thanks a bunch!

What Trudy mentioned is 1000% correct. Since you are in a Team managed project, and sorry for not asking that earlier, I would actually suggest using a company managed project instead. If that is an option and the non-backlog view is that important to you. Otherwise, that won't be possible in Team managed.

I know it's kind of cliche but it's about how you frame it. Every failure is an opportunity. You try not to take the "failure" personally. Sometimes, things just don't work out and that's perfectly okay. You've been given an opportunity to do it better next time. Succeeding on the first try teaches us absolutely nothing.…
