@Jayden Li How many tickets are in your filter? Are your tickets and their Epics really spread across many different Jira projects?
-
My workaround would be update the automation to only run if the commenter is the reporter and/or participant. If you are wanting to keep it specific. We did something similar in our JSM project for the same reason. Could also do something like this to refine it so it can exclude those who are commenting who are agents for…

Hi @Jayden Li I would check to make sure there isn't something in the sub-filter that may be excluding tickets from your board. Here is a JQL I used that allowed me to do what you are trying to do with no issue. (assignee = currentUser() AND "Epic Link" is not EMPTY) OR assignee = currentUser()

Hi @[deleted] As long as you are an Organization admin, you can login here and you will be able to locate the SEN for your products. https://my.atlassian.com/products/index

Hi @William Comstock Walker III Please see the method mentioned here. Are you adding the dates via the // method? https://community.atlassian.com/t5/Confluence-questions/Sort-column-in-table-by-date-in-Confluence-Wiki-page/qaq-p/1322538#M170247

I would suggest creating filters via the advanced search view. That way you can have multiple views with columns that are pertinent to each and those can be accessible with a single click if you save links to them in the project shortcuts. I know it's not as aesthetically pleasing but the data is the most important thing.
-
Hi @Lenka Burianova Unfortunately, that view is not customizable yet. I imagine it will be eventually.
-
@Breisi Brito That has been my experience as well. My suggestion, create a special view just to display for Confluence. Ideally, you would not need to be constantly tweaking the view. At least this way, if you know you want to display specific information, make it its own view.
-
@Aldy Cheung You'll want to check the automations configured for your project. Project Settings --> Automations It sounds like the Rule Actor is set to John. I would update it to the Automation for Jira user instead.
-
Not sure if this will work... haven't tried but maybe try: <td>{{issueType.icon}}</td> OR <td>{{issueType.avatar}}</td>

Hi @Alison Frane Here is a great place to start: https://support.atlassian.com/confluence-cloud/docs/what-are-macros/ https://support.atlassian.com/confluence-cloud/docs/extend-the-functionality-of-confluence-cloud/

1) Does Jira automatically track when points are changed so that no additional field is required? Yes, but only in the issue history which is not searchable for Story Points in JQL. 2) If so, what are the filter parameters to help show any points changed and by how much? You would probably need to create a custom field to…

@Stephen Elkington Quick filters are precisely one click once they are configured.
-
Here is what I would do: * Use the same filter you use for the scrum board in your kanban board. There is no way to pull in the stories otherwise. * Make a quick filter that only shows issuetype = Epic. * When you want to look at the Kanban view of only Epics, engage the quick filter. * Your roadmap will now show…
-
Hi @Stephen Elkington I'm not quite sure why you would want to show a scrum board with only Epics? Epics are not physically delivered in Sprints. Only Stories, Tasks, Bugs, etc are. If you need to have a board to just track Epics, I would create a Kanban board and use the same filter you just updated to only show Epics. I…

Backups generally do not include the plugin applications themselves. Did you already install the same plugins on the new instance? Depending on the plugin, some data may be retained in the backup. However, you would need to install the plugin on the new site in order to access it.
-
@Yaron Norani For #1, there is no way out of the box to accomplish that. If you are open to using a 3rd party plugin, something like BigGantt can do both things you are looking for. For #2, we also have decided to use a custom issue type for Milestones and this has worked fine for our needs.…
-
@Yaron Norani Once you have the organization created, you can update existing tickets via bulk update. https://confluence.atlassian.com/jirasoftwareserver/editing-multiple-issues-at-the-same-time-939938937.html

Update: I could not find a way to edit the Resolution field outside of using automation. In order to meet the requirement you are facing, you would need to create specific transitions to account for the resolutions you want to use. From there, you can create an automation to set the resolution based on the specific…

Hi @Larysa Nadolny Are you using a Team Managed or Company Managed project? You can tell by looking at the bottom left of the navigation panel.
-
Hi @Daldy Deleon Do you see the space settings button in the top left menu of the Confluence space? If you do, then that means you have Administrative permissions in the space. From there, you need to navigate to the Manage Pages section. Then navigate to the Restricted tab and locate the pages in the list. If you click…
-
@John Hi, We had somewhat similar of a situation. We had additional issue types that needed to have their parent as the initiative but they were not considered an Epic. You can create/associate multiple issue types at the Epic level in the hierarchy. I would consider doing this in your use case. Also, I am curious how you…

@Pramodh M Do you happen to know who we send or submit them to?

I'm biased but I like mine. Especially the last one. :-) No special order for mine. Limited creativity today lol.

Hi all, Not an enterprise member yet (and may never need to be) but just looking to learn more about the offering and community.
-
Hi @[deleted] I would check out the solution provided here: https://community.atlassian.com/t5/Jira-Software-questions/How-to-automatically-append-an-epic-s-description/qaq-p/1860553 It's a little hard to understand the use case for your situation but I would look into using Sub-tasks for your Tasks. It's easier from an…

1. Can you name the things you think your manager should be responsible for? * Mentorship * Escalations for things I'm struggling with or need extra support for * Transparency 2. Can you either list those responsibilities in order of importance or in order of time invested? * Mentorship * Escalations * Transparency My…

Is it a question with many words? If all else fails, update the name of the transition to be "Escalate - [Insert question]" I'm sure there is a character limit but it would definitely make it visible.
-
@Viktor Karlsson What @Jack Brickey said. However, I would take it a step further. I would look at why modifying the reporter would be something that needed to happen often enough to begin with that would warrant this concern? Is there an overabundance of people creating tickets for other people and the service team has to…
-
@Bharath Hi. Did you try building any reports within the JSM project itself? I believe you could get most of what you are looking for through a mix between reports from here and regular dashboard gadgets. I'd also consider making a kanban board that displays the tickets from your project that you need to track. There are…
