@Ahfaaz Hussain Are you able to confirm that resolution option still exists in the system and hasn't been deleted? I've seen -1 before and that usually means the value was deleted.

Hi @Ben Wells Welcome to the Atlassian Community! To answer your question, yes, there is a way to do that. You can create custom templates that have predefined formatting and macros. In your use case, I would use the Page Properties macro in the template. In the examples in the documentation, there is a very similar type…

Hi @Meir Greenfeld The Browse Projects permission grants view access to the tickets within a project. As long as that group is added to the permission scheme for that permission or a project role with only that permission.
-
Also, my intuition tells me you may need an if/else for your automation.
-
Hi @Adrin Johnson Welcome! Unfortunately, I've never seen a way to find the history of who created/modified sprint names.
-
@Dirk Ronsmans Do any of your customers or would-be participants have JSM licenses? If they don't, I would go the very simple route of verifying the user isn't in the jira-servicedesk-users group. And you are sure that you want any public comment by agents to transition the ticket to waiting for customer? We thought about…
-
You can use it in conjunction with the group validator.
-
There is a Value Field workflow condition that you can use to check Issue Type.
-
Hi @Ben Weisman Assuming you are using actual automation, you can select to create the issue link using the clones/is cloned by link type.
-
Hi @Rebecca Chandler Welcome to the Atlassian Community! Are you able to access your board settings? Under the general tab, you will want to first confirm the Location is set to the desired project.
-
Hi @Radhika Nagamalla What you describe is not possible in Advanced Roadmaps. It is meant to provide a Gantt style timeline view. I would recommend a plugin like EazyBI that can handle Advanced Roadmap data and provides a wide variety of visual options. Also, you can export roadmap data into a csv and then build pivot…

I've never seen that functionality exist outside of the backlog view. Perhaps there was a plugin/board management application you were using?
-
We signed up! Can't wait to try it out.
-
Hi @[deleted] You can configure your swimlanes by Epics. It's in the board settings under Swimlanes.

Hi @Ryan Bell Organizations are the way to go. See the solution here: https://community.atlassian.com/t5/Jira-questions/Handling-cc-d-addresses-on-incoming-service-desk-email/qaq-p/1706196#M488703

Make sure you have this box checked!

Tempo Timesheets & Planner are some of the best out there. https://help.tempo.io/cloud/en/tempo-timesheets/tutorials-for-tempo-timesheets/tracking-time-on-capex-and-opex-for-tax-credits.html

Hi @Guillaume Gaudonville You can create a new project that shares its configuration with another project. However, it is limited when it comes to JSM projects. You would still need to create new request types, SLAs, add desired customers, etc. But in terms of issue types, screens, schemes, workflows, those will be shared…

If you need something a little more robust, there is a plugin called EazyBI. We use that for custom BI reporting that Jira cannot accomplish out of the box.

In the backlog view, you can also just type C on your keyboard and the create window will appear. You can obviously assign the ticket there as well. If you assign using the shortcut and the traditional create screen, and check the create another box, then the tickets will show up in your filtered view.
-
I understand what you are going for. It's a little more work but when you are adding an item inline, you can click the 3 dots in the bottom right corner next to where it says Cancel. That brings up the create screen which should have the assignee field on it. And in the create screen, if you check the Create Another check…
-
So, if you click on an issue in the backlog view and click A on your keyboard, the assign menu will appear for the Assignee field. It's an extra click or two but still relatively quick.
-
Hi @Brian Sandler In the backlog view, there is a Create Issue button in the bottom left of the sprint view. In terms of assigning, if I understand correctly, you want it to assign to the user who created the ticket? If so, if you are able to edit the workflow, you can add a post-function on the Create transition.

Sorry it wasn't a better outcome for you!

Each save of a view, even if you don't change the name of the view, creates a unique ID in terms of the Confluence embed link. I'm not sure if Atlassian considers this a bug or not. I've had the same experience. That's why I suggested creating a Confluence specific view. It can be static-ish but ticket status and progress…

Hi @Gianni Greene Please see the advice I provided here: https://community.atlassian.com/t5/Jira-Software-questions/Updating-a-view-in-Advanced-Roadmaps-does-not-update-embedded/qaq-p/1951449 My recommendation is the same for your use case.
-
Hi @Tania Mata Morales To get the type of view you are describing, you would need to use Advanced Roadmaps. That is only available at the Premium level for your subscription. If you do have it, you can create a roadmap via the Plans drop-down in the top navigation menu.
-
Have you tried deleting the extra column? I could not replicate what you are experiencing.
-
Hi @Arlene.Amaya You would want to make sure you board filter is ranked by priority and then configuring your swimlanes by assignee would take care of the rest. https://support.atlassian.com/jira-software-cloud/docs/configure-swimlanes/
-
And you are able to view each of the Epic tickets with no issue? Like you can navigate directly to them? Next thing I would try is refining the JQL to only include the projects you know where your tickets are. Including the projects the Epics exist in as well.
