Unfortunately, that will be difficult to do out-of-the-box. I would recommend a third-party plugin like JXL. It allows for more customized orders of tickets.

Atlassian has come a long way in a short amount of time with these CI/CD improvements. It's really great to see these new features and valuable data points!
-
@Geoffrey Jonkers I would consider letting automation do the work for you. You can specify groups to choose from and even select different assigning methods.
-
Hi @Steve Denney If the other project is not a Jira Service Management (JSM) project, you won't be able to enable that kind of ability without consuming a license. If the other project is JSM, you can do this by utilizing the Organization…

I've been absolutely loving the new features to the Release Hub! I would love some more improvements to searching for releases with JQL such as Release Date. I know there are plugins and there is a long-standing feature request but I will always bring it up. 😊

Hi @Linda Korpås I would just start with a Kanban project under Software development. It has the workflow you are looking for. And then I would take a look at the automation library: https://www.atlassian.com/software/jira/automation-template-library/auto-assign…

Hi @Deon Schaffer This type of custom field and configuration is not available out of the box. However, you might be able to get most of the way there with a plugin like this (specifically Smart Fields feature): https://marketplace.atlassian.com/apps/1228536/advanced-custom-fields-for-jira-cloud?hosting=cloud&tab=overview
-
Hi @Mir Browning Can you confirm the issue source you mentioned is in fact the board used by the Team you are referring to? That's the only way to get their exact sprint dates.
-
Hi @abalgatay You would need to use a third-party plugin or create an automation to count the number of sprints so that you can report on it. An example is located here: https://community.atlassian.com/t5/Jira-Software-questions/Jira-JQL-query-to-return-all-items-with-2-or-more-sprint-values/qaq-p/2307753

Hi @Yohannes Shenkute I would recommend adding a date filter to your JQL to narrow down the results. Also, if you have the free integration with Google Sheets, you can export more than 1000 tickets at a time. You can do up to 10k at a time.…
-
Hi @Andrew Rowland I would post this question in the Jira Service Management product group. However, out of the box, that type of report is not possible. You would need to look into third-party plugins in the Atlassian Marketplace.

@Hannah Falconer Is there a reason you can't just add those two statuses to the workflow and columns? It's really only one additional column than what you have now.
-
@Hannah Falconer Unfortunately, Confluence won't be able to help in this case. I would recommend just adding the additional statuses to the workflow. In your example, it's obvious what is occurring when the tickets are in those statuses. You can create a quick filter or regular filter that can show the tickets in those…
-
Hi @Hannah Falconer While you can have multiple statuses mapped to the same column, you cannot transition to another status within the same column. You can still transition via the Status button on the ticket though.
-
Hi @Thomas Craig Have you tried adding an additional criteria to the ORDER BY? Something like: ORDER BY priority DESC, parent ASC FYI, you'll want to move to using the Parent field has Atlassian is moving away from Epic Link.
-
Hi @[deleted] I'm not sure what license level you have, but if you are using Jira Premium, you have access to create projects using the Top-level planning template. This allows you to monitor work from multiple projects and utilize a Plan view with gantt-style timeline charts.…

One of the most common issues I've come across is when companies are using Atlassian Access and Trello but wanting to keep letting users have free Trello accounts without claiming an Atlassian Access license. There is documentation to support this but it could be a little clearer, imho. Do you know if any of these changes…

Hey all! Happy to be here and meet you all (hopefully in person!) I live in Chandler, Arizona.
-
@Susan Waldrip That book is precisely the inspiration! Knowing the WHY not only in Atlassian solution requests but pretty much anything else in life is always a benefit, in my opinion!

Technically Team 22 was since that was the first I attended in person. But I'll be back again this year. Hope to see a lot of you there!

I am finally catching up. Fun series! Concorde used to be one of my favorite planes. I still have hope a new version will come back someday.

We just got an in-app notification saying we had presenter mode but we still don't. :(
-
Hi @Devin Ponda I'd be interested to hear why the requestors get to choose a date at all? We have a similar situation but for a completely different purpose. We put a note on the date field in the portal that the date must be at least 4 days in the future and a workflow validator that stops the ticket from being submitted.…

Done! (It's showing as in Moderation)

@Max Deland Darn Splunk! Taking our award. ;-) jk... I know we all deserved it.
-
Congrats all! I see I still have much work to do to crack that top 10. :)

Hi @[deleted] Welcome to the Atlassian Community! Have you verified your board is configured to use the right estimates? If you are using Story Points, make sure the Estimation Statistic is set to that. More info here: https://support.atlassian.com/jira-software-cloud/docs/configure-estimation-and-tracking/
-
Hi @Miguel Angel Velazquez Solis Your SLAs will abide by whatever your system time zone is set to.
-
Hi @Gavin In this scenario, I would use a multi-user picker custom field. That can be added to the security level. You can then update the Notification scheme to notify people in that user picker field with any notification triggers you'd want. Watchers still has to abide by the Security Level. Since the Watchers field is…
