Probably you can use the comparison and print the view to .pdf I did quick test and it seems to show changes --- However, the full document is not visible - only the part that changed - maybe that is enough and allows to focus on real change, but I was expecting this to show the whole page / whole context.

Find more information about this framework in the Ideas section. Source (online version): https://www.atlassian.com/software/jira/product-discovery/resources/handbook/product-backlog#boulders-rocks-pebbles --- btw. @Tanguy Crusson - the download on the Discovery Handbook page doesn't seem to work when logged into an…

Start by checking your global permission settings for: Browse users and groups View and select users or groups from the user picker. Users with this permission can see the names of all users and groups on your site, provided they have the Browse Project permission granted to them. They can @mention people on work items…

I’ve been thinking about this. Before jumping into implementation, I plan to add an audit log and define rules/settings to handle different scenarios. “Syncing” raises some interesting challenges. Adding labels from included pages is straightforward - it’s an incremental change, and we want that to reflect on the parent…

check this: https://support.atlassian.com/jira/kb/how-to-create-generic-table-with-ticket-data-in-multiline-text-field-using-automation/ I used a similar approach to review support requests. At first, I reviewed all tickets from a specific period (e.g., 2 weeks) to provide feedback on completed issues and offer tips on…

Unfortunately, this cannot be hidden. There have been requests to change this for years, but nothing has been implemented so far (and probably won't): https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/CONFCLOUD-58921

Congrats @Ramu ! 🎉Please share the solution that worked for you - it might save someone else a lot of frustration down the line.

Could you please explain the situation in more detail? Are you trying to physically print work item details to distribute them across departments? And is the issue that the printed document is missing values from custom fields?

Unfortunately, I’m not familiar with that app and haven’t worked with Data Center in a while. You could try asking ChatGPT to help break it down - it might offer some ideas or context. Have you tried reaching out to the app’s support team directly? They should be able to confirm whether this is possible and guide you…

lol, you are right! I would vote for such feature. In Chrome you can check this extenstion (1st I tested): https://chromewebstore.google.com/detail/dark-mode/dmghijelimhndkbmpgbldicpogfkceaj It brings nice dark mode: #inception ;)

Yep, it’s definitely not a simple task – especially when you're dealing with similar (but different) projects and other parallel work. When you find the perfect solution for your case, don’t forget to share it with the community – I’m sure others will appreciate seeing how you managed it 🙂 Good luck! Bonus tip: Document…

I asked Chat GPT and here is proposed solution: Here’s a sample Groovy script you can use in a Script Validator on a transition (e.g. Create or Update): import java.time.LocalDate // Replace with your custom field ID or name def dateField = getFieldByName("Start Date") if (!dateField || !dateField.getValue()) { return true…

I used to track qarters with versions (software project), with pattern like Q1.20, Q2.20 etc, it allows to add start/release dates. This was not a developement project rather master plan of things to do. Versions are visible on timeline, but are project specific - so it worked for Epics (eg. Jira X compatibility update -…

It is still work in progress, not yet automated, but with single click labels can be added from all included pages. Short Loom: Global and space admins can set if in current space other spaces and personal spaces are included. Next week I will work on some get started page and more configuration, then 1st release Next I…

You can also use the announcement banner to indicate that the instance is non-production. If it can’t be toggled off, the banner will make it clear to users that they’re not working in a live environment. Additionally, the banner is useful for announcing other relevant information related to that instance - such as…

I like to keep it relevant and simple for example, for my app: Attachments Cleanup Assistant In Jira I have projects - for support - ACAS (Attachments Cleanup Assistant Support) - for developement - ACA In Confluence: - public knowledge base - ACAS (linked with support & dev project) Sometimes I also make an internal…

Ok, so if it's a file embedded in the page, then macro case is valid - it's being rendered inside a macro. In that case, you’ll likely need to open and print each file individually, rather than exporting the Confluence page to PDF. A similar case was discussed…

Is this what you're looking for?

Ok, I had to ask 😉 - my old printer was very persistent about using Letter as the default paper size! -- You can also try exporting the page using a different browser. Certain @page properties may render differently due to enhancements in browser rendering standards. This may require adjustments to your existing CSS to…

So it’s not an issue with the PDF itself, but rather with how it’s being printed? In that case, I’d recommend checking your printer settings - especially the paper size. Make sure it's set to something like A4 instead of Letter/Photo?

Great to hear that! Cheers! Łukasz

From the app listing looks like the last update was on: Feb 25, 2025 https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.ifountain.opsgenie&hl=en&pli=1 Nothing on statuspage: https://opsgenie.status.atlassian.com/ So maybe something in your configuration changed. Worth checking other options, since it's an end of sales for…

Integrating Jira & Excel is not so simple as you would think, with fields, context, permissions etc... it can get quite complex. I was in the team behind the app: Excel 365 Connector whch allowed Jira <=> Excel communication, you can check it…

Hmm, check again the configuration of the incoming email handler then check if the Rerporter is set and if that reporter can create issues in given project: If that is not the case, then you can check if emails from different email adress are not processed. Maybe the email which you are testing is marked/considered spam…

If reopening of the task is triggered by a comment rather than a workflow transition, you might want to review your automation rules. Consider excluding those actions for issues in a status within the "Done" category to prevent automatic reopening. You can also introduce a final status, like "Closed", and set strict…

This can get a bit messy - it's likely that the user isn’t part of the Product Access group with the “User (creator)” role for Jira Product Discovery. Your org admin can check this in the Products section: https://admin.atlassian.com/ Jira Product Discovery (JPD) was the first Atlassian product with a per seat licensing…
