Hi @Davide Cioranu , your question somehow slipped through the crack of the Community alerts, and with the new experience, I just got all the notifications! Please see my answer below, hopefully it gives somewhat of a guidance on where to start your mapping. Irina

Hi @[deleted] yes this still remains a challenges, but I hear this is being worked on. Below Im quoting our support team addressing the question to our customer: Both scheduled exports from InTune and automated imports into Assets are the gaps. Both gaps are ultimately addressed in JSDCLOUD-14881. Long answer: * At the…

Hi Stefan, The thing is, Affected Services field in JSM is actually coming from Assets - it's an Object field just like other you can create manually, but it's locked for customisation. The crucial link Services (aka Affected Services) are the glue that ties together Incidents raised and Changes approved. By specifying a…

Hi there, Are you using an app to track your time ? Like Tempo or EasyTime? There might be a different setting to enable Log Work depending on which app it is used. If you are just using the Jira that comes with the software to log time, it can be the project permissions that are preventing you from doing so. Can you try…

18 (!) Nominees! That's a hard choice! Congrats to everyone on getting to the better place with the help of Atlassian tools

Amazing to see our customers - Health New Zealand Waitematā, as nominees! I'm rooting for you guys!

@Rustem Shiriiazdanov _Actonic_ AA is great if you are on Premium or Enterprise cause you can access data from beyond Jira and JSM if needed and run complex queries (SQL) from human prompt using Atlassian Intelligence. As a Solution Partner, we've used a couple of apps for JSM reporting, specifically I would recommend (no…

Hi Shiri. 1. The Validator is something you can add to your workflow and is there to check that all the values you need for the next steps in the workflow. You need to be a Jira admin to add that 2. Automation can add a comment on the issues that be viewed below but will also send an email notification. Another way to…

Hi @Shiri Feldman Such a common request and a good sign of an organisation that understands the value of aligning the plan with the delivery. You have a couple of options here. 1. First, you can add a Parent Link field to the Create Screen for all the issue types that need to be linked up. This means that the screen scheme…

Thanks, see @Ed Letifov _TechTime - New Zealand_ response, hope it helps!

@Jeffrey Anderson Happy to help, just a quick clarification, are you planning on implementing SSO on DC or Cloud with Atlassian Access?
-
Hi @Anjali.Sridhar You should be able to create a simple swimlane in the board's configuration based on the JQL like "component=Intranet". For example: However with the introduction of a new Compass (software component), I've seen some flaky behaviour on some of our test instances. Like swimlanes would work for Epics but…

Yep if it's just for reporting - custom field solution is perfect!

Hi @Tim Kannenberg Contributors can only access your project in read-only mode and contribute using the enabled features: creating ideas, adding comments, insights, votes or reactions. What do you want these people to do once you've Assigned an Idea to them? If they just need to brainstorm and research stuff outside the PD…

Actually, it's all good, because you would need to go to the same config screen to enable this. So on DC, you get the Plans by default. You, or your admin, can associate more than one issue type to the tier of hierarchy where Epics sit. Let me show you: Go to Plans/Administration. Then find Advanced Roadmaps/Hierarchy.…

Hi @Michelle Nguyen Can you please confirm whether you are on Jira Software Premium and if you are using Team Managed vs Company Managed project template? This is how you'd know: If that's the case, then you can setup any type of hierarchy for any number of issue types and map then in the tier of choice here providing you…

Hi team, Please RSVP for the event here, looking forward to seeing you online soon. Keep an eye out for an in-person event in our offices very soon!

Hi @Billie Herman As Solution Partners we've done quite a few projects implementing JSM for HR teams, but the truth be told, our expertise and skills were needed to support more enterprise requirements with complex forms and need to setup custom permission schemes. If you are looking to set something up quickly keep in…

Hi @Hanamantaray Babaleshwar Can you please click on the Edit pencil icon at the top and then share the screenshot of the source of the page? So we can see the names of the macro being used. Irina

Yes yes registered, come see us at two booths : EasyTime and UserManagement, look out for cute sloths as a give away :)

Hi Bernd, yep that is what you would expect to see if the customers don't have access to the Jira project itself through Browse Project permission. If you are a project admin in Jira, go to the Project Settings, then Permissions and check what is mapped to Browse Project. Is it the usual set of roles or "Public"?
-
Hey! Good timing! We are organizing an event as we speak on the same topic. What’s your timeline ?
-
Hi @Bernd Gurn I hope I understand your issue correctly, but it sounds to me that you need to publish some data from Jira onto the public Confluence page. For those issues to be visible to the public it's not enough to make the filter Public, your Jira project Browse permissions should allow that too. If this is all in…

Hi team, please check our my latest post with the Atlassian tags, thanks! https://www.linkedin.com/in/irinamosina/recent-activity/all/

Hi @Brian Dulin Version Workload report works for all the issue types that have Fix Version field associated with their screen and people actually specifying it, as in allocating those issues to the version. So if historically you were only allocating Epics to the version (see example) then that's what you will get. I…

Hi @Benjamin Peikes In my humble opinion, the new suggested usage of Components with a direct link to Compass is more suitable for Software development teams that think of their code repositories as services and can catalogue them into components such as Database, Front End and other parts of the software architecture. I…

HI Jeff, Great idea ;) And yes, you can do it with Product's Discovery's automation because it still has all the awesomeness of #jira You have a couple of options. 1. First, a traditional approach where you simply create a Filter (or saved search) where you narrow down your scope to your project and the status of the Ideas…

great overview, thanks!

Hi @Alison Clough That's a very good question and I would think that the order of Issue Types in the Issue Type Scheme would define that, but I don't think it's the case. Let me test it first and perhaps you can check on your end as well. To confirm that you need to be a Jira Admin capable of editing Issue Type Scheme.…

@Mudit Agarwal Ironically, you can setup your Confluence Cloud in a way that you can publish your content for public view. Confluence out of the box supports : - simple workflow - full history of edits - concurrent editing - drafts - very rich editing - collaboration and feedback. I you want to take it further, as…
