@Sönke Neise happy to be of help! Reach out if you need more guidance!

HI there @[deleted] The easiest way is to create an automation that creates a page for you "automagically" every time the Sprint is closed. All you need is to be a Project Admin for the selected Jira project that hosts your Scrum board. Once in the project: 1. Go to Project Settings/Automation 2. Create a new Rule 3.…

H i @marjan.emami1 You should be able to hover over the right corner of the each column of the table and sort it using the arrow, see the image below. Also I wonder if you've considered using Confluence Database for a more sophisticated data management?

Welcome to the Teamwork Lab!

Hi @Sönke Neise Manual time tracking has always been available in Jira, but the reporting itself was left to app vendors and customers to organise, and for a good reason. As Solution Partners, we've done a lot of research on that, and it turns out that every organisation has very different requirements around how they want…

Hi @Adam Stein , @Steve Prüfer is right that you are supposed to be able to change the color of your columns but first hovering on the top of the column's right corner and then clicking on the pencil.

Hi everybody, I started using Jira as a Software Developer to collaborate on issues raised by our testing team and plan releases back in a shocking 2003! Yes, we were one of the earlier adopters of Jira and then a plugin called GreenHopper to facilitate our Scrum and Kanban practices. How incredible it is to see, now, as…

Hi everyone, lovely to meet fellow JSM nerds. I lead a team that has substantial experience implementing JSM for our customers as well as building the apps to ease some of the friction arising in the service desk use cases. Looking forward learning more from all of you!

@Ed Letifov _TechTime - New Zealand_ have a look at this roundup post.

Hi, You might be on the Data Center version and not Cloud. Can you share the screen shot of what you see ? Irina

Happy to help!

Hi Spencer, You need to make sure you can see Due Date and Start Date in the Fields section in the roadmap. If they are not selected, click on the "Fields" dropdown as shown in the screenshot and find those fields to add.
-
Hi Spencer, To remove the bar you simple can delete values of the Start and End/Due Date fields Irina

Hi Rob, You should be able to configure any type of link type to be displayed as a dependency in Roadmaps (Plans) settings. You do need to have Advanced Roadmaps Admin permissions to access that. Please note that this setting is global and will be applied to all your plans.
-
Issue won't be part of the scope of the plan if the resolution date is not set. Advanced Roadmaps needs ‘Resolved’ date to know whether the issue was Done in the last 30 days, so if there is no date on the issue then it simply won't display it.…
-
Hi Richard, Can you please check that when your issues are moved to Done, your Resolution is set as well as part of your workflow. Irina
-
Hi Sarah, Might be worth checking in your issues sources whether you might have excluded some higher level issues like Initiatives because that would exclude linked Epics. Also note that by default plan will only display issue completed within last 30 days and for Versions/Releases that you've added to your plan. Irina

Hi, I wonder if representing your process of work breakdown as workflow statuses rather than vertical hierarchy would make more sense. You vertical hierarchy can be then : "Big Thing" (wether you choose to call Initiative or Project) - Epic - Story/Task For, example, your "Big Thing" will go through a number of iterations,…
-
Hi Jennifer, Couple of things to check around the scope of your plan: - Are they Unresolved and if Resolved then when? - Check your plan's for the setting on how long any completed issues stay there - Do all these Epics belong to the same Jira Project? - Can some of the Epics be from NextGen Projects? - Is your plan built…

Estimate as a team in Story Points to describe the complexity and the level of unknown about the task. Once you kick off the work on the Task start tracking time (logging time) against sub-tasks. Compare your original assessment of the effort estimate at the end of the cycle/iteration and adjust for the next task of…

Hi Wessel, as Solution Partners we have implemented the same approach for various organizations but found that we needed to be able to propagate this flag to all children in that tree starting from Initiative all the way to the Story. For that we’ve developed an addon that will allow you to inherit any value from your…
