@Paul Stay tuned! We have some improvements coming to admin capabilities in free Workspaces so that you'll be able to fully remove any member or guest. This will be in place by the time the limit begins to be applied in April.
-
@cgp Upgrades apply to the entire Workspace rather than an individual user, so you wouldn't choose individual people within the Workspace to upgrade. Once you upgrade, the bill is automatically calculated taking into account all users. However, that doesn't mean that all users have to be paid for as part of that bill. That…

@laura_elvin A guest is a member of a board (or multiple boards) within the Workspace but not a member of a Workspace itself. Upgrades apply to the entire Workspace rather than an individual user, so you wouldn't choose individual people within the Workspace to upgrade. Once you upgrade, the bill is automatically…

@David Yoshida _Efikato_ Upgrades apply to the entire Workspace rather than an individual user. So, the Workspace itself would be upgraded to Standard, rather than individual users within the Workspace. Once the Workspace is upgraded, everyone would be able to continue using it normally. As for whether or not a user would…

@RadicalStart Installation We have more details on the different Trello plans available here: trello.com/pricing As for which collaborators are billable, that depends on these criteria: * Members of the Workspace itself are always billable * Guests of the Workspace are billable if they are members of more than one board.…

@Stephen Moffatt Upgrades apply to the entire Workspace rather than an individual user. So, everyone in the Workspace will be able to continue using the Workspace normally after it's upgraded. Whether or not a member or guest in that Workspace is billable depends on these criteria: * Members of the Workspace itself are…

@Duane Hansen If a user is a member of the Workspace or a member of a board within a free Workspace (i.e., a guest), then they are counted as a collaborator, whether or not they edit that board or only view it. Whether a user edits the board or only views it also does not impact whether or not they are billable in a paid…
-
@PeterD There is no change to the billing for any of Trello's paid plans.
-
@Rassismuskritische Psychotherapie Trello's paid plans apply to Workspace rather than individual users, so the non-profit discount applies to the entire Workspace that it's applied to. I also want to make sure you know that Trello Premium is not the only option for having more than 10 collaborators. We have another paid…
-
Whether or not you will need to pay for all 83 users depends on 2 things: * Are they members of the Workspace or just guests (meaning that they're a member of boards within the Workspace but not a member of the Workspace itself)? Workspace members are always billable. * If someone is a guest, are they only a guest on one…

Hi @Paulo Fraga . Stay tuned! We have some improvements coming to free Workspaces in the next few weeks that will allow you to full remove any guest or member.
-
@Mike Amaral Multi-board guests are billable in both Trello Standard and Trello Premium. Single-board guests are free in both.
-
The collaborator count is based on the total number of Workspace members and guests in your Workspaces. The number of boards is not part of that count. For example, you could have only 1 board with 15 members, and it would be over the limit. Or you could have 6 boards and 3 members of the Workspace who are on each board.…
-
@牧野真也 Both admins and guests are counted as collaborators, so a free Workspace that already has 10 admins will not be able to add a guest. If the Workspace upgrades to a paid subscription and adds a new guest to a single board, however, that guest will be free. Guests are only billable on paid Workspaces if they are on…
-
@laura_elvin Upgrades for Trello cover a Workspace rather than a user. So, if you are in multiple Workspaces, some of those Workspaces may be free and others may have paid subscriptions. If all of those boards are in a single Workspace, it doesn't matter if you are the admin of those boards, since it's the Workspace rather…
-
@PeterD Thanks for bringing this up. That message should only be displaying to users who are part of a free Workspace, even if they are also part of a paid Workspace. It shouldn't display if the user is only a member of paid Workspaces. We'll take a look and make sure this is working as expected. You may also want to check…
-
@Lyubomir Yornadov To clarify how billing works, you don't have to to limit all of your guests to the same board. For example, let's say there's a workspace with members, 2 boards, and 35 guests like this: * 20 guests are on Board A and only Board A * 10 guests are on Board B and only Board B * 5 guests are on both Board A…
-
@Jon Hidden-Coley All Workspace members and guests count as collaborators in free Workspaces. However, in paid Workspaces, only Workspace members and guests that are on more than one board are billable. So, if some of your 39 collaborators are guests of the Workspaces rather than members, and if they're only on one board,…

@Danilo Barros You can find more information on educational discounts, and a link to the application form, here: https://www.atlassian.com/licensing/purchase-licensing#do-academic-institutions-receive-special-pricing
-
@紅しょうが Yes, if you're using Trello with fewer than 10 people, you can continue using it for free.
-
@Aaron Keyes A few things that might help: * We have discounts available for non-profits: https://support.atlassian.com/trello/docs/non-profit-and-educational-discounts/ * If your Workspace isn't eligible for the non-profit discount for some reason, Trello Standard also has unlimited collaborators at a lower price point…

@Nick Ross We'll be making some improvements to the admin capabilities for free Workspaces so that you'll be able to fully remove any guest or member. We'll have that in place by the time the limit starts to take effect in April.

Thanks for reporting that, @Luca Pau. I'm able to reproduce this issue as well—we'll look into it!

Hi @Sofia Senatorova! It looks like the Card Aging Power-Up is turned on for this board. This gives cards a faded appearance when they haven't had any activity in a while. To turn this off, click on the rocket ship icon in the upper right section of the board. Then, click on "Settings" under the Card Aging Power-Up, and…

Hi @Heather Blue, thanks for sharing how your team was using the previous version card embeds. We're interested in allowing users to embed individual Trello cards in the future, rather than the whole board—however, it's not something we're actively working on right now, so I not able to give you a timeline for it. It's…
-
@Emil Snorre Alnæs The setting is per-browser, not per user.
-
@vertikaldienst Links to Trello cards should still be displaying the name of the linked card. Could you share an example of the URL you're using and a screenshot of what you're seeing? Feel free to remove any identifying information from the URL; I just need to see the structure of the URL.
-
Hi @Jeanette Plews, this is only available on cloud.
-
@Cheryl Watts We haven't made any changes that would make embedded boards read only. Is this a public board by any chance? I'm wondering if you're able to see the board because it's public but not able to interact with it because you're not recognized as logged into Trello. If it is a public board, please try opening…

Hi @agileautonomy, we haven't made any changes to card embedding, but it is possible to select a "card" display option for Trello links—is that what you're seeing? Selecting the card view: The same link displayed as a card:
