Hi Kate, I'm guessing that the board may have been accidentally closed in this case. You can follow these steps to re-open it: https://support.atlassian.com/trello/docs/reopening-a-closed-board/
-
If you know what board it was on, you can look at the board's activity feed and scroll back to the very beginning. If you know which card was first, you can open the card and check its activity feed instead.

You can find that here: https://trello.com/when-did-i-sign-up

@Kila Stangeland Could you refresh that board and let me know if you're able to add a 10th person now?
-
@Kila Stangeland We believe we've found the issue here. We should be able to get this fixed for you tomorrow—I'll follow up when it's done.
-
That's right, you'll be able to continue using your boards normally!
-
@[deleted] We think we've caught the issue here. Would you please refresh and let me know if it's all good now?

That's something that will have to be solved on your friend's side. Either they've disabled the invite link, in which case they will need to click on the "Invite with link" button again, or you're not able to join because the Workspace already has 10 or more collaborators. They can find the number of collaborators on the…

@Deborah Brown This is currently only supported through Power-Ups, but we're tracking interest in it here: https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/TRELLO-110

We have some information on this page that might help: https://support.atlassian.com/trello/docs/changing-the-admins-of-a-workspace-or-board/

@Christie Stewart If you started your trial earlier in the day on April 8 than when it was switched to 30 days, you would have gotten a 14 day trial. When your trial ends, you should be able to start a new 30 day trial.

We have some tips for this situation here: https://support.atlassian.com/trello/docs/changing-the-admins-of-a-workspace-or-board/

@KCC Trello Upgrades are at the Workspace level, not the account level, so if you upgrade the Workspace with 10 collaborators and then want to upgrade the Workspace with 15 collaborators as well, you would need to pay for those 10 overlapping users both times. I would recommend trying to consolidate into a single Workspace…

@Sara We have some tips for this situation here: https://support.atlassian.com/trello/docs/changing-the-admins-of-a-workspace-or-board/ I'd start with option 2: Recovering an account by password or email address.

@mahoko waga The limit is for the entire Workspace, rather than individual boards. Although the board that you're using may only have 9 members, when all Workspace members and the members of other boards in the Workspace are considered, the total number of collaborators across that Workspaces is at least 10, which is why…

@Kathy Admin OK, we have found some workarounds that should help you resolve this issue. Would you try one of these and let me know if refreshing the guest page afterwards now shows the correct number? Option 1: Remove someone from a board. You can immediately add them back; however, note that removing them will also…

@Markus Scheer Sorry, I didn't see your question earlier! Upgrades apply to the entire Workspace rather than an individual user, so you wouldn't choose individual people to upgrade. Once you upgrade, the bill is automatically calculated taking into account all billable users. Members of the Workspace itself are always…
-
This typically means that you have signed up with a different email address than the one associated with the account you were working from before, and from looking into this I believe this is the case here as well. For example, one account may have been created using a professional email and the other with a personal…

Hi Vanessa! Upgrades apply to the entire Workspace rather than an individual user, so you wouldn't choose individual people to upgrade. Once you upgrade, the bill is automatically calculated taking into account all users. However, that doesn't mean that all users have to be paid for as part of that bill. That depends on…

If your Workspace exactly 10 collaborators, you won't be able to add anyone new, but you can continue using it for free with the 10 people you already have.
-
That Workspace would be over the 10 collaborator limit, because both members and all guests are counted as collaborators. However, if you upgrade the Workspace, you would only be billed for members and guests who are on multiple boards—the single-board guests would be free.
-
Yes, claiming your domain with an Atlassian organization is free! And yes, that should give you visibility into anyone on your domain who is currently using Trello.
-
@Mark Bradsworth It's possible to set the board's visibility to public and then share with non-collaborators that way so that they can view the board; however, that really does mean that the board is public, so anyone who gets access to the link would be able to view it.
-
Free Workspaces can have up to 10 users. To have more than 10, you'll need to upgrade to a paid Workspace. Upgrades apply to the entire Workspace rather than an individual user, so the price will be based on the total number of billable users in the Workspace, not just those added after the first 2. However, that doesn't…

@Kelly Vincent This should be fixed with a refresh now!

This should be fixed with a refresh now!

@[deleted] From your screenshot, it looks like the page is cut off and not loading fully for some reason. If refreshing isn't fixing it, you can also open each of your boards and look at the list of board members to see who is listed as a Workspace guest. The guest can be removed directly from the board.
