Hi @Frank Wedel, you can see the current plan for a Workspace by opening the sidebar while you're viewing a board within that Workspace. The current plan will be listed underneath the name of the Workspace. If all of those guests only need a single board, then you could upgrade the Workspace to Standard and only have to…

It would be $120 per year per billable user within that Workspace. Once you upgrade, the bill is automatically calculated taking into account all users. However, that doesn't mean that all users have to be paid for as part of that bill. That depends on these criteria: Members of the Workspace itself are always billable…

Hi @Dan, do you see any banners on that board with messaging about it being in read-only mode? It does sound like the Workspace may be over the limit. One possibility is that there are fewer than 10 members of the boards that you're a member of within that Workspace, but there may be more boards in the Workspace with more…

Hi @Dianna.brumlow. There are 2 ways that a user can be deactivated in Trello. Either they can be deactivated from the Workspace within Trello, or their entire Atlassian account can be deactivated at the organization level. If the user was just deactivated from the Workspace, you should be able to reactivate them, but if…

Hi @dave_anderson! Here's how you move a board from one Workspace to another: https://support.atlassian.com/trello/docs/moving-a-board-to-a-different-workspace/

It sounds like your board may be read-only. This can happen if the Workspace it belongs to is over the collaborator limit. You can check the Members page for the Workspace to see how many collaborators it has. If it has more than 10, you'll need to either upgrade or remove collaborators in order to make the boards editable…

Hi @Jenna Bernadyn, was there any chance that you were looking at the list of members in the board rather than the list of members in the Workspace overall? If you're viewing the collaborator count for the entire Workspace, it should look like this (but with different numbers): The limit applies to the entire Workspace, so…

People who just view the public board but are not members of the board or its Workspace do not count as collaborators.
-
@Jamie Jackson Did you remove yourself from the boards from the list of members on the board? Or did you simply log in and not see your boards anymore? If it's the first one, that's only possible if there's another member on the board. In that case, I would suggest asking that person to re-add you to the board. If it's the…
-
@ASPEN The limit applies to the entire Workspace, not just individual boards, so if you have 10 members on one board in the Workspace and then another board in the Workspace has additional members, or if there are other members of the Workspace itself, you would still be over the limit. If you navigate to the Workspace…

* There is a Calendar Power-Up which you could enable in Standard, which is similar to the Calendar view. However, the actual Calendar view (and all other views) are only available in Premium and Enterprise * If you have 20 people add another person, you would be charged for that new member when you add them. The amount…

The limit applies to the entire Workspace, so all members of the Workspace and any board within that Workspace count toward the limit. You can see how many collaborators you have by going to the Members page for the Workspace, and that number will be displayed in the sidebar. If each client (and the people they're…

@Jens Fougner Are you seeing any message before you are returned to your own boards page? If your friend is using a free Workspace, one possibility is that the Workspace is already at the limit of 10 people collaborating in it. However, if that's the case, you should be seeing a message to this effect when you click on the…

We have some more info on how billing in Trello works here: https://support.atlassian.com/trello/docs/how-billing-works-with-trello-premium-and-standard/ If you'd like to see in advance how much it would cost to upgrade your Workspace with its current members and guests, you can find that by going to the Workspace billing…

To specifically address the part about admins, admins will also not be able to edit the content of the board. Board admins will be able to remove members from the board, however.

@Alexandra Santamaria Alcaraz If you're still on the free trial and never entered your credit card information, it will just switch to free automatically at the end of the trial. If you've already paid for a subscription or entered your credit card information during your trial, you'll need to cancel to prevent the paid…

We have some more details about what will happen to you Workspace after it's downgraded back to free here: https://support.atlassian.com/trello/docs/change-or-cancel-your-trello-plan/#What-happens-to-our-Workspace-after-we-downgrade

The fix is out now! If you're still not seeing any sort options, please try refreshing your page.
-
Hi Cece, this is a bug. Our development team is currently working on a fix which should be available soon. In the meantime, as a workaround, you can create a Board Button to sort those lists. This should allow you to continue your workflow while we're working on a fix.

If you're on a free Workspace, I would recommend starting a free trial. This will give you full admin capabilities and will allow you to become an admin for any board within the Workspace. Since you weren't a member of that board before, you won't see it in the list of closed boards, even after you start the trial. You'll…

$12.50 is the monthly cost per user. However, upgrades apply to the entire Workspace rather than an individual user; it's not possible to upgrade only a single member within the Workspace. Once you upgrade, the bill is automatically calculated taking into account all users. In this case, you have 11 billable users, so that…

Hi Alexia, that's right. Upgrades are per Workspace. I would definitely recommend combining Workspaces, at least for each team, so that you're not having to pay for the same people multiple times. You can use Collections to organize boards within Workspaces.
-
Hi Liz, are you referring to reordering your starred boards on the Trello home page? This feature was recently removed—however, you can still reorder these boards from either the "Starred" menu at the top of Trello or from the sidebar menu when you have a board open, and the changes you make there will be reflected on the…
-
Hi Neven, if you downgrade to Standard, that Workspace will fully remain on Premium until February, so any new members you add will have access to the Workspace's Premium features and will be billed at the Premium price. This will be prorated, so you won't be paying for a full year of Premium for them, just until next…
-
To add on to Mike's response, if your need to upgrade is due to the collaborator limit, this limit is applied separately to each Workspace. So, if you have multiple Workspaces and only one is over the limit, you only need to upgrade that one. If multiple Workspaces are over the limit, you would need to upgrade each of…

Thanks, @Bri. I've added a public bug ticket for this here: https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/TRELLO-309 Any updates on this bug will be shared there!
-
@Bri Would you mind sharing a screenshot or a link to that public board so I can try it out? I haven't been able to reproduce this problem anymore.

@Andrew Haberberger Yes, you've got that right!
