  • Dear Scott, The activity feed works pretty well and I like that feature, however there is something that I would like to see added to it: * When clicking the Icon, I would rather have a small preview of the last 4-5 notifications or so shown in the current page where I am. A fold out panel idea with a link ''Read More'' to…
  • Dear Carter, Glad I could be of service! I see that you have accepted the answer, I assume that it has been fixed now then :-). Friendly Regards, Jeremy Mooiman
  • @Thomas SchlegelHehehe :)) What is that board game fair in Essen on your profile? Seems pretty sweet.
  • Dear Carter Zhou, Could it be that you do not have the "Browse Users" permissions? You need this to be able to mention users. Check with your manager if this is the case. You can find them here; * Choose > System. * Select Global Permissions to open the Global Permissions page, which lists JIRA's global permissions.…
  • Shinyyyyyy :-) Was wondering how I got it. Does this mean we can expect more badges in the future ;))?
  • Dear Nikola, Can you find it under; * Choose > System. * Select Advanced > Listeners to open the Listeners page. Friendly Regards, Jeremy
  • Dear Nikola, Both Zephyr, Xray and many many others are suited for this job really. The most popular add-on by far right now for this is Zephyr.. here is an overview: https://marketplace.atlassian.com/categories/test-management Friendly Regards, Jeremy Mooiman https://www.prepend.nl/
  • Dear Nikola, This is indeed possible! You can use the auto-transition listener; https://ecosystem.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/JTOOL/pages/43810818/Auto+Transition+Listener There are also other add-ons out there that can provide what you are looking for.. but this one is free, and by Atlassian Labs.…
  • Dear Anna, Glad to see it has been resolved! I was out of office at the time you had written your first answer :-). And indeed, the older log files are not being written to anymore by JIRA. They are ''done''. So JIRA has no active interaction with them anymore. Friendly Regards, Jeremy Mooiman
  • Dear Anna, This has to do with the log rotation. As you can see, Atlassian-jira.log 3 is the oldest one and all logs are about the same size. This can have three reasons; * There is a log size threshold, logs stop at a certain size. * There is a time threshold, A time when a log should be created. * Your JIRA has been…
  • Dear Sir/Madam, I assume that you mean the ''Issue Detail View'' when clicking an issue on your board. Please see; https://confluence.atlassian.com/agile/jira-agile-user-s-guide/configuring-a-board/configuring-the-issue-detail-view Kind Regards, Jeremy Mooiman https://prepend.nl
  • Dear Sid, The emails that JIRA sends can certainly be editted.. just not that simple. It will require you to edit standard templates which can be found on your server: https://confluence.atlassian.com/adminjiraserver071/customizing-email-content-802592932.html However.. you can also buy an add-on for this.. which makes it…
  • Dear Shannon, It will require quite some tinkering to perfect it. And it will obviously be quite a hassle for people who are not directly into programming. I will vote on your feature request. In the meantime people can use the macro. Should you want anything added; please let me know. Friendly Regards, Jeremy Mooiman
  • Dear Dave, You can create a user macro for this. The following will calculate how many likes a given page has received. You should grab the page ID for it to work. ## Macro name: Pagelikes ## Visibility: Visible to all users in the Macro Browser ## Macro title: Page Likes ## Description: Toont het aantal pagelikes voor een…
  • Dear Umair, The repository owner and repository admins can delete a repository. The owner is the account that created the repository. Deleting a repository permanently removes it from Bitbucket. As a consequence, any URL referencing this repository no longer works. To delete a repository: * From the repository you want to…
  • Dear Mohammed, You should follow this guide; https://confluence.atlassian.com/adminjiraserver071/migrating-jira-applications-to-another-server-802592269.html In this guide, the database is backed up with XML.. however.. you yourself can also make a backup of the database and skip the XML. So.. things you should do; Copy at…
  • Dear Humberto, It actually is...! :) See the following; https://confluence.atlassian.com/teamcal/subscribe-to-team-calendars-from-microsoft-outlook-251005307.html Friendly Regards, Jeremy
  • Dear Risto, I would recommend that you read the Migration Hub, that has been created by Atlassian to help people upgrade to JIRA 7.x https://confluence.atlassian.com/migration/jira-7?tab:platform=1 This also brings an answer to your question; Upgrade Task List Friendly Regards, Jeremy Mooiman www.prepend.nl
  • Dear Hong Zheng, Currently there isn't a possibility to modify these fields in the Issue collector and there isn't a web interface solution to set them as required. You can however do the following.... You will not be able to set the native fields as required, but you can create custom fields and set them as the required…
  • Dear Venu, No, you will not need to restore an XML. The XML creates/writes a Database. But you already have a Database :-). Friendly Regards, Jeremy Mooiman
  • Dear Venu, That is indeed very much possible :-). That is practically how upgrading JIRA works in a nutshell. You will only have to take the attachments with you to the new server. Friendly Regards, Jeremy Mooiman
  • Dear Per, Users will not need a license to acces Confluence as a knowledge base, because the space in question will be made public. You will have to create a Knowledge Base, and make it public for everyone to see. https://confluence.atlassian.com/doc/make-a-space-public-829076202.html
  • Dear Wael, Just a suggestion.. this might not be for you in your use case.. but can you use the Create from Template macro for this? https://confluence.atlassian.com/doc/create-from-template-macro-317196995.html Kind Regards, Jeremy
  • Dear David, I have two questions; What version of JIRA do you use? Could you clear your Browser Cache for me? Friendly Regards,
  • Dear Jessica, That is obviously not possible. May I ask if you have acces to the server and or database? This might be your last resort then. Friendly Regards, Jeremy
  • Dear Jinxi, You should add the scheme and such; scheme="https" proxyName="yoursite.example.com" proxyPort="443" So; <Connector port="8080" maxThreads="150" minSpareThreads="25" connectionTimeout="20000" scheme="https" proxyName="yoursite.example.com" proxyPort="443" enableLookups="false" maxHttpHeaderSize="8192"…
  • Dear Per Hjort, It is indeed possible to make your Confluence Knowledge Base publicy accessible. https://confluence.atlassian.com/doc/use-confluence-as-a-knowledge-base-218275154.html You can combine this with Jira Service Desk. You cannot however make your JIRA Service Desk Cloud publicy accessible. There is a feature…
  • Dear Jinxi, What have you entered in your server.XML? Did you enter a HTTPS redirect port and such? Friendly Regards, Jeremy Mooiman
  • Dear Manish, Bamboo records all server activity in the atlassian-bamboo.log. The location of the atlassian-bamboo.log file can be viewed in Bamboo's System Information under the 'Bamboo Paths' section. I believe this could be because there is a directory path invalid. Can you check the logs for me? Friendly Regards, Jeremy
