ACP-520: Atlassian Cloud Organization Admin Certification Journey

Hi All.

I would like to share my journey to preparing and taking the ACP-520.

Week 1 (Nov 5th - Nov 11th): Gathering info.

Purchased the ACP-520 course and reading the overview of course.
I already have a personal Atlassian account (premium plan) and setting up the cloud environment as instructed in the overview (some steps I have already done as I have a few Jira projects set-up for practice for ACP-120).
Followed the getting started section and completed the below

Created the Atlassian Account

Created the site https://sitenamennn.atlassian.net/

Navigated to admin hub:

https://admin.atlassian.com/

Configured Jira Software

Configured Confluence

Able to navigate between products

Started first exam topic Atlassian Organisations

Feeling: Super excited!! I have my learnings from the preparation of ACP-620 and ACP-120. So, hopefully can leverage and can also document some good slides in Miro.

Week 2 and 3 (Nov 12th - Nov 25th):

Did not do much in week 2, but overall Completed going through Atlassian Organizations. Paused at different sections and went to admin hub to try out different menus and options as mentioned in the success cloud content.

Will be updating Miro board by the end of this week.

Weeks 4 and 5 (Nov 26th - Dec 10th):

Completed User Groups and Admin Roles. Proactively booked the exam a the centre for end of Jan. No spaces available at the centre I am booking until mid Jan.

If you have good hands-on experience and familiar with roles, groups and access levels etc, the content of this exam seems easier than ACP-620 and ACP-120.

May I ask what is the difference between this 520 certification vs the ACP-120?

Hi @Ifat Keren Sorry just saw the post. ACP-120 covers Jira Admin for Cloud. ACP-520 in overall Cloud Org Admin. It covers managing various cloud products at the Organisation level, including creating multiple sites, billing, user setting, etc.
