Automatically I want JIRA to trigger a Mail to project Lead oR Particular Project Role when the SLA breached
Hello @Madhu Mullangi,
You can try any of the following :
https://confluence.atlassian.com/jirakb/how-to-configure-notifications-for-breached-slas-in-jira-service-desk-777027020.html?_ga=2.268216206.1826075411.1546779896-1516142325.1531468173
OR
Use third-party add-on like Automation for JIRA :
https://marketplace.atlassian.com/apps/1215460/automation-for-jira?hosting=cloud&tab=overview

Hello @Madhu Mullangi
What @[deleted]said it correct
This is how I use it.
SLA is used in Jira Service Desk unless you are using some addon and using it on Jira Software.
If you are using it on Jira SD go to you SD project settings - > automation -> add custome
When:
"SLA time remaining" Add then choose your SLA (name)
Event: Breached
IF:
Issue matches: you can leave all or put a custom JQL which fits your need
THEN:
Alert user: and write the name of a user you want to alert(write his jira username it should offer you)
Hope this helps,
BR, Olga
Is there a way to create a custom message ? the default is showing "This issue requires your attention "
