automatic assignment of issue when single choice custom field is selected in jira cloud

Hai,

Jira is running on cloud..

i have a custom field called applications(single choice drop down), while creating issue ,When ever the application is selected the issue must be automatically assigned to respective application owner.

help me by providing code using script runner.

Hello,

If you want to do it out of the box. then use the Components field instead of the application field. You can provide default assignee for each component.
