How can I make a field required only in specified transition?

Hello,

According to our workflow, we need a code review report while switch task status from 'in progress' to 'testing', I wonder if a field could appears only when the issue during 'in progress' status, and required while the issue switch to 'testing'. I found screen scheme may do so, but it can only set different screens on create/edit/view. Is there any method to carry my requirement out?

Hi @sssssss,

As @Ollie Guan said create a screen with the field and add the screen to the Transition (to create a screen Go to issues--> screens--> Add screen and provide the name and description of the screen --> it will create a empty screen --> add the field to the screen )

To make a field mandatory while moving an issue to the Testing  status add a validator to the transition called "Field is required Validator (JMWE add-on)" and select the field which you want to make mandatory .

1. Create an screen with the fields you need to display
2. Modify the workflow to manage this screen in the middle of 'in progress' to the 'testing' status
