It´ is very usual to create a new task to a running sprint.
It´s akward to
1 switch to the backlog-view
2 create a task in the backlog
3 move to the runnig spring and confirm
4 switch back to the board-view
You should be able to add values to the Sprint field when creating the task. Once chosen, the task will automatically be added to the sprint.
in my "next gen" Project in the "Create new Issue" Dialog there is no sprint field.
that´s true.What I really want, is the little Plus button directly in the board-view, which is visible, when the project has not the scrum feature enabled.
