Can we switch Project B from Scrum to Kanban without affecting Project A which is Scrum?

Question

We are using Jira in our 2-week sprints with Agile Scrum for our Product Development (software) project. We also use Jira in our Growth board (non-software project) with an Agile Scrum board and we're thinking if it might work better as a Kanban project.

Can any of you please help us and confirm whether we can:

* Switch the current Growth project from Scrum to Kanban without starting a new project?
* Confirm that the existing Jira Product development project can stay on Scrum while our Growth project switches to Kanban.

In relation to your recommendation, @Pedro Felgueiras, how will I change the filter of the Scrum board to only contain issues from our Product Development (software) project?

After that, could you please also say how to create a filter for our Growth project, with all the issues (including those in our backlog)?

Last, how can I create a new board (preferably the Kanban for our Growth project) based on the new filter?
