Hi There,
is there a way to create a jira core board in jira software? For simple task management both scrum an kanban are not the best solutions.

Hello Christian.
Unfortunately, it is not possible to add a Business Board to a Software project, so I would recommend you to use a Kanban Board with no backlog view, so it would display a simple view of your issues.
Another option would be to clone your issues to a Business Project.
