I whant create an custom rule for * Edit issue to select and change a field in your issue, such as assignee or priority. This affects fields that may not appear in each issue type. but the field that I need to change (Organizations) is not in the drop down list, where can I add this field? thx in advance for your help Frank

apologize if I shouldn't be posting here!

I have a small query, I am using Automation for Jira - Server Lite app on my Jira SD 4.0 version and was seeking some information. is it possible to auto-update Organization field automatically based on email id of the requester when a new issue is created. if yes, how? Can you please provide me a sample about that.

btw, I already have the email domain of the reporter in a custom field, and so copying the value from custom field to Organizations field is also fine.
