Why some issue return "An internal error has occurred" when trying to use "PageMe!" addon?

Hi,

When we use the pageme addon some of our issue return the attached message. I am sure it's not a permission problem, and it's not a problem at "project" level: other issue on the same project work without any problem.

When we face this issue we can try every space or page on our confluence instance, no matter what we end up always with that message.

I tried to find something on the log, but I can't find anything related to PageMe!.

Somebody can help?

We use JIRA server 7.1.6a and Confluence server 5.9.10

There's a bug in the add-on, broken data, or some form of communication breakdown between the serves.

What do the log files say on both sides when this error happens?

Nothing at all. I've checked both Atlassian-jira.log and atlassian-confluence.log, and when the error happens nothing show up. Neither on catalina.out... I don't know what else check, I've also tried to uninstall and re-install the plugin, but to no avail...

Mmm. The problem for me is that "internal error" always writes something to the log, no matter what. So I'm stuck.

D'oh! Not very nice to ear...Is there some way do augment the verbosity of this plugin? Maybe that way it will be possibile to find something on the log(s).

Good point - I'd go to "logging and profiling" and add the class for the add-in into it, maybe at a warn or debug level.

My guess would be the class is called com.atsistemas.jira.plugins.pageme
