"TypeError: Object doesn't support this action" error in Agile boards with IE 11

Pedro J Acosta

Hello everyone,

We have an environment with JIRA 7.8.2 and by pressing the "Comment" button of a selected issue from the Agile board with Internet Explorer 11 we get the following error:
"TypeError: Object does not support this action."
We have seen that this bug has been corrected in the JSWSERVER-16572 issue, however, it does not specify any solution for our environment, is there any possibility of correcting this error without updating the JIRA version?

Regards.

Mirek

If you would look at the offical BUG - https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/JSWSERVER-16572 you should notice all FixVersions that should not have this problem - 7.10.0, 7.9.2, 7.6.6, 7.7.4, 7.8.4  .. If you can please upgrade from 7.8.2 to 7.8.4 or higher that have the fix
