Update time originalestimate to story using sub-tasks

Question

Good morning,

we would be able to calculate the sum of all original estimate time of sub-tasks to the parent story (to be able to plan the sprints and using reports). We checked the box that sub-tasks should be included in the calculation but both fields within the story are almost empty (undefined). All sum-fields of the story a calculated correctly.

Can we realize it withing standard JIRA or is it possible to use ScriptRunner to do that for us? Does anyone have scripted a solution for that?

For JIRA boards in Plan mode, this is an open issue. Basically if you open an story issue in the issue detail view then you can see the sum of sub-tasks after clicking on the checkbox "Include sub-tasks" but in case of plan mode/ scrum boards this is not supported. Hence my suggestion to you is to use script runner 's scripted field for it
