How to enable email notifications on our JIRA instance?

It seems I'm missing the smtp info for our email server but I could be missing additional information as well (and perhaps permissions).

Hi Ghazal,

 

Besides configuring the SMTP server for JIRA to send the notification, you may want to update the notification scheme associated to the project.
