JIRA upgradation

Question

Hi All,

I have Windows 2012 server with oracle 12c and JIRA 6.3.4 installed.

I have to update my JIRA to latest one.

I have done : JIRA 6.3.4 to 6.4.12 (everything is working fine.)

--> in 6.4.12, i have taken one backup of zira.

--> 6.4.12 to 7.0.0 (it saya DB got lockedout)

--> in 7.0.0, i have drop the user and recreate the user and table and import 6.4.12 xml, which was successful.

--> after restore i am not getting JIRA agile and all project inside it.

Please help me.

It sounds like there was a problem with the import/upgrade to 7.0.   I would closely look at the $JIRAHOME/log/atlassian-jira.log file that exists at the time of this import.   I am expecting there to be some kind of SQL Exception or some other error that indicates that that the entirely XML data set was not properly imported.

Since you've already done a reindex, and this does not seem to correct the problem, I would check that log first for other errors.

There were other major changes to 7.0, especially in regards to user licensing and application access.  But from what you have said so far, I don't think that is the problem.  You wouldn't even be able to see the Boards tab if you didn't have application access.  So I suspect the XML import during the 7.0 upgrade was not actually 100% successful.  Which would indicate why there might be data missing from Agile/Software specific AO tables in the database.

yes i am able to access JIRA.

completely Agile is not there, instead of Agile, board is there and there is noting in it.
