Batch in Jira

Hello,

I'm new in Jira plugin development.i want to create a batch that read a external file once a day.

Can anyone guide me, if jira provides  something close to that.

Hi Jobin,

I did the same example but in the end i got this error :

atlassian-plugin.xml contains a definition of <component /component-import . This is not allowed when Atlassian-Plugin-Key is set.

I know, i should work with some annotations but i don't know how? i tried but i doesn't work. Can you help me please?

You can create a scheduled task in JIRA using SAL events. See https://developer.atlassian.com/server/framework/atlassian-sdk/scheduling-events-via-sal-tutorial/ for more details.
