SR on JIRA Cloud: How to get new field values in scripted post function?

In a scripted post function, is the `issue` binding supposed to represent the issue with any field changes made within the transition screen?

I'm seeing that it doesn't but am not sure if it's a bug or if I should be making an additional call to the REST api to fetch the issue with the fields applied.

Just tried issuing a call to the REST api and it seems to be inconsistent on wether it gives me the value pre-screen or post-screen.

 

Anyone have any ideas on how to consistently get the values from the post function screen with groovy/SR?
