ReIndexing a project

Question

Hi,

I am trying to reindex a project, using the new JIRA UI. I select 'Settings' on the left side bar for the project in question (which I got to via Home->Projects->Select Project I'm interested in.)

However in the Settings left-menu, I don't see any item to 'ReIndex.' I am an admin, jira-admin and site-admin. Any ideas where it's hiding?

Indexing is done automatically on Cloud.

I'm guessing someone perhaps ran this re-index based on this post, as it seems JIRA started working again on one project we had issues with. Problem solved, not quite sure why.

Hi Paul,

self-indexing in Cloud is not possible anymore. If you need to reindex your project, you have to contact Atlassian Support (https://support.atlassian.com/contact).
