How do I calculate a date from an estimate and the current date

Question

I configure a time tracking, and I want that after I enter a value in the filed 'Original Estimate' it will be convert to a format of date in other field.

For example: if the date of today is 22/03/18 and I enter the value 3d, than in a filed 'End date' will be show '25/03/18'

You will need to find or write some code to do this.  Something like ScriptRunner will enable you to create a post-function or listener that can read the estimate and calculate an end date.

However, I would question why.  An estimate is a measure of amount of work, not elapsed time.  That's why the estimate is separate from due date in the core product.

This morning for example, I've made an estimate of 5 days on a project.  It is not going to be done this time next week, as your code would calculate because there's acceptance from the client, plus scheduling it into the sprints to be done.  Your code would generate a completion date that is complete garbage in real life.

I'd suggest a look at SLAs in the Service Desk instead of doing this.
