My board was first in english but changed suddenly into dutch

Hi,

When I started with JIRA my board, issues, interface etc. where in English. But now after a few weeks my the whole interface turned into Dutch. Can I change this somewhere? The default setting in the global configuration is English even as the default setting.

In my own profile I tried to change the language into English, but it didn't work.

Can someone help me?

Hi Rosa,

There are a couple places you can check:

If other people login and their interface is in English but yours is in Dutch check your profile and change the language there.  If the change is universal:

In Cloud:

1. Choose Settings > System in the Jira sidebar
2. Choose Edit Settings
3. Select your Default language and choose Update

In Server:

1. Choose > System. 
2. Select General Configuration to open the Administration page. 
3. Click the 'Edit Settings' button, then select the appropriate language in the drop-down box next to 'Default language'.
   Any additional languages you have installed will appear in the list. See Translating JIRA.
