how to run more than one jira on a windows server

Question

can I use only one windows server to host more than one jira instance ?

I run jira as service on port 8080 right now on  Windows server 2012,  which is a testing environment.

If possible, should I run another jira as another service,  just control jira services in the service manager.

background:

Without applying for another testing environment, I am thinking to install another jira on the same windows server, linking to a different database.

You can certainly run another JIRA on the same server.

Make sure you use a different port (https://confluence.atlassian.com/adminjiraserver/changing-jira-application-tcp-ports-938847762.html) and you have enough memory & resources on the server to host 2 instances.
