Jira Rest API,pre commit hook-Windows

Dear All,

Good day.

I am new to Jira.I have requirement to have a pre commit hook script on my SVN Repository to check for Jira Issue key when someone commits a code in SVN.

I was going through few documents but couldn't find anything helpful.

Also saw that Rest API should be be enabled.

can anyone help me with exact things to be done.

Hi,

With Jira, the REST service is always on, at least with all the current versions of Jira.

I was searching for this same problem and I found a related post over on stackoverflow, please see Restricting Subversion commits if the Jira Issue key is Not in the commit message - Stackoverflow.

It appears to offer a scripted template that can be used in order to verify this information before posting a commit.
