Hi there,According to the Jira Cloud documentation it is possible to create shared releases

I can only create releases within the same project. There is no screen coming up where I can select cross-project release.Has this functionality been taken away again?

That functionality is available through JIRA Portfolio., if you don't have access to Portfolio you won't be able to create a cross-project release.
