Error while modify task

Question

Hi,

while modifying a task and submit I'm getting an error message:

Exception: Object expected:

resource: 17.16.10.........

plugin: tinymce/tinymce.js?batch=false

line:6

column: 16257

I use JIRA DB service, I didn't yet moved to a recommended JIRA DB like MY_SQL, is this related?

Thanks.

Thank you Eyal,

Could you help us to understand exactly the steps you're taking to replicate the error? Is it any kind of edit on any issue?

You can feel free to submit a video of the problem using a service such as Screencast-o-Matic. It will help us to understand what is triggering the issue.

Regards,

Shannon

JIRA sw version: 7.6.0

Browser I use is Microsoft Edge:

Microsoft Edge 40.15063.674.0

Microsoft EdgeHTML 15.15063

I experience it also on Opera and Google Chrome

Thanks.

Eyal,

Can you tell us your Jira version as well as the browser version where this occurs?

It may not necessarily be the fact that you're using the embedded database since it's approved for testing, but when you're ready, you can follow Migrating JIRA's data to a different type of database server from our Switching Databases documentation.
