Hi all,
i made the field labels on issues required, so whenever someone creates an new issue he/she should add also the label, but i don't want to be required when i create a subtask. Is this possible?

You would need to create to field configurations. The first one wil have the Label field required and the second one will not. You can read more here how to manage field configurations

Then you will need to change the field configuration scheme for the project. You have to associate all issues types to the field configuration where the Label field is required and sub-task issue type should be associated with the field configuration where the Label field is not required. That would fulfill the requirement.

I have read these before but i can't figure out how to do this. What i really need is as shown in the image of the project TRAVELER to change the field configuration only for the Sub-task so to use a field configuration that will let the labels field optional and not mandatory as i have set it in the Default Field Configuration
Go to fields and then you will see there your field scheme. Then you have to find the scheme in cog item->issues->field configuration schemes then find your scheme and edit it according to the guide.
