JIRA Datacenter access each nodes from its own IP

Is it an expected behavior for customers to access a node from its own IP? Or they should just use the common IP of the data center?

What do you mean by common IP? Do you have a load balancer in place?

Yes

What we did is we have our users access one URL that will be load balanced to the different JIRA data centers that we have.
