Restrict issue links types in specific issue types

I have many issue link types to fulfill traceability requirements for documentation.

I would like to restrict link types for outgoing and incoming links from specific issue types to specific issue types.

Is this possible through a workflow status property?

Hi James,

I'm afraid to say that I think the native JIRA does not have this feature.

Some similar feature requests in the past would be

1. JRASERVER-36494

2. JRASERVER-16745 (This seems to match your use case)

3. JRASERVER-9634

At the moment, I found a plugin, Extended Schemes for JIRA  which I think could help. In its description, it states that the plugin could, among others, do the following:

1. Control what Link Types are availabe for each scheme.

2. Disable linking for specific Issue Types or whole Projects.
