Restrict use of the priority field

When using Jira Cloud is there a way to restrict all user groups but one from editing the priority field? Additionaly I would like all user groups without the ability to edit this field to have the ability to read it.

I see that the Behaviours plugin, which has been merged with Script Runner, used to offer this ability but does not on the cloud version of Jira. Hopefully there's another way around this.

Remove it from the "edit" screen, and then place it only on workflow transition screens that the power users can use.  (Not ideal , as it means lots of transitions in a workflow, but it's the best you can do without code)
