I am using JIRA service desk server 3.3, was wondering is there way to display fields side by side in customer portal form, so that saves space on the screen and scrolling time.
I have 8 fields in the form and its taking whole page.
I'm afraid there's no way of rearranging the fields at this time. Not without hacking your own code into it.
is it now possible ? and What do you mean by hacking your own code? any references would be really appreiciated.

"hacking your own code" means what it says - you need to write your own code to change the layout, and insert it into the application.
