Import Incidents and Service Requests from a Service desk system in to Jira SD.

Question

Is a Jira 'issue' analgous to a Jira SD Incident? So the document at https://confluence.atlassian.com/adminjiraserver071/importing-data-from-csv-802592885.html relevant to my requirement?

yes it is. Analogous and relevant. Just watch out for Organizations, Request Types on Cloud. You need a support call to find the UUID of the request type and the ID of the Organization(s)
