Activity stream timeouts : "One or more activity sources were slow to respond and are not included. Try again."

I am trying to figure what's behind the activity stream ...
Do I have plugs-ins that could slow down my stream ?
If yes where can I find them in adminsitration ?

Nothing is displayed below when I have the timeout.
Can I say that I have a general performance issue then ?

We have solved our performance problems !
WMWare has a setting which made Linux think he has the RAM but its not the case !!!
You swap !
So under linux total RAM is OK
but CPU is very very high !!!!
