Confluence iframe generates unexpected error.

Question

Within a Confluence page, using the iframe macro to render a page from another application (Planview),  Worked great, until Planview was upgraded and now receive "An unexpected error."  The URL has not changed.  Is there a setting on the page that will allow views from an iframe?  Does Planview need to make a change on their side?

Uncaught SecurityError: Blocked a frame with origin "https://XXXX.pvlouc.com" from accessing a frame with origin "https://xxxxx.atlassian.net". Protocols, domains, and ports must match.

I think the issue here is this security issue – The iframe is attempting to run scripts on the current page and this is never-ever allowed.

I can set a Planview URL in an iframe for pages with asp; however, I'm receiving the error when the page is aspx.  Thinking that is the difference.  As I mentioned, the aspx page was able to render until Planview performed an upgrade.

We don't know much about planview. Does Planview allow iframing of their application?

Does your browser console have any errors in it?
