The label '' is not within the required '255' characters

I am getting this message when trying to restrict which articles (with label) users can see when linking a Confluence Space to a Project. What does this mean?

I am using Service Desk.

Same issue here, with JIRA service desk 7.0.0 and Confluence 5.8.16.
