Will plugin JIRA iCalendar Plugin cause problems on JIRA 7.1.2?

I have currently JIRA 7.0.5, and on the plugin upgrade checker only this plugin, iCalendar, shows as incompatible.

Is it safe to upgrade JIRA to 7.1.2?

To what? Upgrading? Or waiting for the calendar add-on to be updated?

Sorry, was under the impression that it would not be updated anymore, so was hoping for an alternative to the iCalendar add-on. wink
