Is it possible to restore a Jira Core backup on a Jira Software instance?

Carlos López Holtmann

Hi

I'd like to know if XML backup/restore is compatible from JIRA Core to JIRA Software.

thanks in advance

It is.

JIRA software is an application that runs on top of Core, so you always have Core there (along with it's ability to import backups from other JIRA systems)
