I am trying to introduce support for epics in our scrum boards, but I was unable to find the checkbox in labs. Why is that? (I only have "parallel sprints" and "analytics")

That's weird, the Epic lab should be available under Greenhopper Labs section for Greenhopper 6.0.7.
Could you please try re-install the Greenhopper plugins and give JIRA a restart to see if this helps?Cheers, Vicky.
