Hi everyone đź‘‹
We have shipped a tonne of database goodness, including some of your most-requested features - I am SO excited you all to try them!
As always please keep the feedback coming - we read everything, we love it and it truly does help us prioritize what we focus on next.
Available now 🎉
Connect and automate
🔌 GET API
You can now read and retrieve database information for your own reports, integrations and tools. The API is still experimental, with write access on the way.
Here are docs to get you started.
🤖 MCP Support
You can now connect supported AI tools to your Confluence databases through MCP (Model Context Protocol).
⚡ Create Database Entries with Automation
You can now create database entries as part of an automation rule (accessible via Studio or In-Product Confluence automation).
For example, automatically add new Jira feedback work items to a customer feedback database, saving you from copying them over by hand.
Make everyday databasing easier
📌 Frozen Columns
Freeze columns so they stay put while you scroll across your database. You can finally stop losing track of which entry you’re looking at!
⌨️ Keyboard Navigation
Move between cells with your keyboard, without reaching for the mouse.
🗓️ Timeline Layout
View your database entries on a timeline. Give it a go for your next content calendar, campaign plan or project.
🔧 Inline-editing menus
Contextual menus are now available to everyone, putting relevant actions right where you’re working. You can also rename views names inline, and field headers via double click on header.
Rolling out
✨ AI Summary field
Let Rovo turn the details in each entry into a short summary. This is rolling out now, so if you don’t see it yet, it’s on the way!
Which update are you most looking forward to? And if you’ve been waiting for API access or automation, what would you like to build with it? Tell us below 💙
Happy databasing!
