See the attached image. Computer time is correct, Jira admin time is correct, Jira profile time is correct…but calendar is showing GMT. It is showing 4pm here but it should actually be showing 12am. I have not set a time field, just a date field.
Check the Kanban Board Settings - Working Days - Timezone.
Just a random thought/suggestion.
(Must be a Space Admin/Board Admin to do this)
Timezone is correct on the kanban board settings.
What field is that?
The field that stores the time.
It's the standard start and due date fields, no time field has been configured.
Are certain the Jira-Admin Site Time Zone is set correctly along side your personal settings?
Everything stems from there.
Screenshot?
Only way to override it is if automation sets the time via smart value function. (Even then that's a stretch).
Hey @Jo-Lee Bertrand ,
Can you take a screenshot of card layout configuration in the board settings? I'm asking as I've never seen actual times displayed when using native fields such as Start date and Due date. Instead, it will mainly look like this:
As for specific issues, I've only managed to find this one JRACLOUD-97486: JSM Calendar does not recognize TimeZone , behaviour is Sporadic but this is for JSM rather than for Jira (although it could be related) 🤔
Anyway, I could try replicating this if I saw the actual fields, but you could also reach out to Atlassian Support if you have a paid plan as they'll probably be able to troubleshoot this much quicker. 🎟️
Cheers, Tobi
Hello - this is on the calendar view and not the kanban board view. The time only shows up if you switch to weekly. I have also submitted a ticket because we do have a paid plan. In my first post I have a screenshot of the item as it appears in the weekly calendar view.
Yes - all time zones in the admin settings are correct.
